Gloria Jimenez
Gloria is a southern California girl who has loved doing hair ever since she graduated from cosmetology school over 10 years ago. About 6 years ago, she discovered her true passion – eyelash extensions. She loves being able to help women feel more confident and beautiful with longer, fuller lashes. Gloria takes pride in her work, and believes in treating every client with quality service and respect, working hard to provide a pleasant experience for them, and going above and beyond to exceed their expectations. At the end of a treatment, I want my clients to walk away feeling relaxed and beautiful.
I met Joanna in 2020 and started leaning about all her amazing skincare routines, including hydrafacials. I was so impressed with the results with he vitamin c treatment added to the hydrafacial helps to brighten and tighten the skin, giving my clients an even more beautiful complexion. Joanna Young
Joanna attended college in her home country, Newfoundland, Canada before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia in pursuit of a job opportunity. There she worked in business, marketing, creating financial plans, and hospitality.
Her years of business expertise landed Joanna a job at a large bank in Newport Beach, where she traded commodities. What was originally intended to be a temporary work residence turned into a permanent residence as she fell in love with Southern California.
Joanna’s inspiration to pursue a career in beauty stemmed from when one of her close friends was unfortunately diagnosed with skin cancer. Worried about her friend’s health and wanting to do anything to make her friend feel beautiful, Joanna learned how to spray tan.
By doing this, she could give her friend a beautiful Californian glow without having to put her directly into the harmful rays of the sun. What started out as a way to help her friend turned into a real passion. A passion so strong, Joanna quit her job at the bank and went back to school for her esthetic license.
Joanna first started Live Beautifully on 17th Street, renting a room at a local salon. As her business grew, she expanded to her current location near Fashion Island. Joanna rebranded herself and has expanded her services to meet the different needs and desires of her clients.
Now on Dover Dr. in the newest latest edition to Joanna Young Skin, we have more space to offer a few more services to you. Not only does she offer hydrafacial, Microneedling, permanent make-up, but we are also well known for eyelash extension and Brow lamination and waxing, airbrush tanning and sugar removal. Her amazing soothing touch when delivering facials includes training her staff to mimic her.
Joanna’s love for her job is expelled in the services she provides for her clients and present in the energy as soon as you step foot into Joanna Young Skin and is always improving her talents and spa for you.
Linh Nguyen
Linh is a licensed esthetician who has been working in the beauty industry for over six years. She grew up in Stockton, California and moved to Southern California in 2004. Linh graduated from CSULB with a degree in healthcare administration and worked in the healthcare field for nine years before transitioning into the beauty industry. She loves the beauty industry and is passionate about everything related to it.
I met Joanna in 2015, since then, she has worked with Joanna @ Joanna Young Skin doing lash extensions, sugar hair removal, spray tanning and now Hydrafacials. Linh is a very dedicated esthetician and loves helping people look and feel their best. Always continuing learning new skills and services that will help her clients.
Linh's favorite part of the Hydrafacial™ treatment includes the before and after pictures. She says, "The results are amazing!"
In Linh's free time, she loves spending time with family and friends. Linh is into fashion, traveling and trying new restaurants.
